Netball Tip #4 - November 16, 2018

Summer Time!

Summer is finally here… the mornings are getting lighter… the days are longer and warmer….. time to get out of bed and enjoy…. having a good start to the day will increase your energy levels and help to make your time on the netball court successful:

  • start the day with a glass of water

  • Consume a healthy breakfast

  • Make some time for a morning exercise routine before hitting the court

  • Don’t skip any nutrient group throughout the day

  • Consume healthy snacks every 2-3 hours 

 A healthy snack before a game could be:

  •  Small bowl cereal with chopped fruit and yoghurt

  • Crumpets with sliced banana and drizzle of honey

  • Fruit smoothie

  • Raisin toast with jam
